This Easter, we’re heading back to Maryvale and we’d love for you to be part of it.
There is something quietly powerful about showing up for a child who doesn’t expect it. No fanfare. No grand gestures. Just the simple, profound act of saying: we see you, we’re here, and you matter.
That is exactly what drives every initiative we run and this Easter, we’re doing it again.
We are thrilled to announce our 2026 Easter Initiative at Maryvale Orphanage, where 11 incredible children ranging from newborns to 9 years old are waiting for a day they’ll never forget.
Why We Keep Showing Up
Our Christmas initiative showed us something we already believed but needed to feel again: generosity is contagious. What started as a small community effort grew into something that lit up the faces of 11 children who deserved every single moment of joy.
The impact didn’t stop when the decorations came down. The children at Maryvale carry those memories. They talk about them. They hold onto them. And that is exactly why we can’t stop and why we won’t.
Easter is a season of renewal, hope, and new beginnings. What better time to remind 11 young hearts that the world is full of people who care about them?
What We Have Planned 🐣
Our team of dedicated volunteers has put their hearts into planning a day that is fun, warm, and full of magic for every single child from the tiniest newborn to our busy 9-year-olds.
🥚 Easter Egg Hunt
What’s Easter without the hunt? We’ve planned a wonderfully age-appropriate egg hunt that will have the kids squealing with excitement. Hidden surprises, little treasures, and big smiles that’s the goal.
🎨 Face Painting
Butterflies, bunnies, superheroes whatever their heart desires. Our face painters are coming ready to transform every child into their favourite character for the day.
✂️ Easter Crafts
Little hands making big memories. We’ll have craft stations set up so the children can create their own Easter keepsakes to hold onto long after the day is done.
